With Hogwarts Legacy still being less than a week old, there are many questions popping up around the internet, and through Facebook groups!

Hogwarts Legacy is about a 5th year student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry who has the ability to control ancient magic that only a few known other Witches and Wizards have had the ability to posses! As your main protagonist advances through the story they learn more and more about the ancient unknown magic while avoiding Dark Wizards and Witches who want access to your characters magic!
No, if you’re expecting to see characters from the Harry Potter movie franchise or books you will not encounter any. There are however past descendants from familiar family names roaming the castle, such as the Weasley’s, the Black’s and more!
Yes, you can choose your house in Hogwarts legacy. While there is a sorting ceremony and two questions of your character with the answers leading to a recommended Hogwarts House, you can ultimately choose whichever house you want to be in!
The house choices are of course: Slytherin, Gryffindor, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw!
Yes, in Hogwarts Legacy you get to choose and build your own wand! There are multiple wand styles to choose from, over 30 different types of woods, and the option to select which wand-core your will be used in your magic!
Yes, Hogwarts Legacy is open map when looking to explore new areas or quests. It however is not of vast of a map or area as other notable open-world games such as Skyrim, Grand Theft Auto or Red Dead Redemptio. In addition, there are some things the map will also prevent you from doing, like flying up to the Hogwarts Castle roof and landing on it from your broom!
Yes, there is an inventory limit throughout the game of 20/20 gear that can later be expanded once completing certain side quests available from inside of the game!
No, in Hogwarts Legacy you can not change your house or enter other common rooms for the other houses. Once your selection is made at the beginning of the game you can no longer switch!
Yes, you can die in Hogwarts Legacy during battles and quests, and from falling off cliffs inside of caverns and other treacherous terrains. When you die, you will be able to resume from your last auto-save point!
Yes, the auto-save in Hogwarts Legacy is very dependable. Throughout game-play we had absolutely no issues with it and it seems to be a very frequent occurrence!
No, currently there is no way to play Quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy, as Headmaster Black lets you know that the Quidditch field has been closed this year due to a recent accident!
No, you cannot attack other Hogwarts students in Hogwarts Legacy either with physical or magical attacks!
No, while there are mentions of the other magical schools in Hogwarts Legacy, you can not visit or travel to their locations.
There are multiple ways to level up in Hogwarts Legacy including fighting Dark wizards, completing main and side quests, exploring new areas, and solving challenging puzzles!
Yes, Hogwarts is LGBTQ friendly and includes many gay relationships
Yes, you can create transgender characters in Hogwarts Legacy at the start of the game when building your character through the use of male and female sounding voice options. For example you can assign a male or female sounding voice to a male or female character!
