Dragons to be guards of Wizarding Azkaban Prison
After the battle of Hogwarts, Dementors were officially removed as guards from the Wizarding Prison, Azkaban.
As the accused(s) (meaning prisoners’ of Azkaban ) have their wands snapped, Mrs. Granger, Minister of Magic decided that the official guards of the prison would be dragons.
“Its for the best,” Mrs. Granger said in an undertone to the Daily Prophet on Tuesday.
“Charlie Weasley will be bringing in a few dragons from Romania very soon”, says Mrs. Granger.

This is fantastic! As long as the dragons are treated well and with care, I think that this is a great idea! I’ve always thought that dementors were too much, even for the horrible witches and wizards that had to be around them every day.
