Hogwarts Hot Chocolate Recipe
Straight from the kitchens of our very own Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, we bring you a very magical hot chocolate recipe to try in your own home cauldrons.
Shared by a house elf that has been working at Hogwarts for over 20 years who wishes to remain unnamed, we bring you what was once Albus Dumbledore’s favorite recipe for hot chocolate and frequent cure for a long, difficult day.
Whether you’ve gone through a difficult ordeal, need a warm drink in the middle of the night, or simply wish to cuddle up for a warm beverage with your loved ones, this magical Hogwarts Hot Chocolate recipe is sure to put a spell on you.
Ingredients
2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. finely chopped milk chocolate or milk chocolate chips
Pinch of salt
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
1 cup whole milk
Instructions
1.) In a mug, add the cocoa powder, sugar, chocolate, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
2.) In a small pot, add the milk and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
3.) Remove and transfer the milk to the mug; stir until the ingredients are incorporated, about 1 minute.
