Department of International Magical Cooperation

The Department for the International Magical Cooperation is the department of the Ministry of Magic that attempts to get wizards from various countries to work towards a common goal. This department creates the standards of trade, determines the regulations for cauldron thickness, trade standards, and interpretation of international magic laws. This department also works with other departments for special events, such as the Triwizard Tournament when they worked with the Department of Magical Games and Sports.

The Department of International Magical Cooperation was established by Minister for Magic Artemisia Lufkin sometime between 1798 and 1811. The divisions under this department include the International Magical Trading Standards Body, the International Magical Office of Law, and the International Confederation of Wizards (British seats).
