The 2021-2022 Quidditch Season Preview
They are coming… and by they the Daily Prophet means the new Quidditch season.
The British and Irish Quidditch League begins to ramp up.
This season looks to have many twist and turns with loads of transfers of different players, firing and hiring of coaches, retirements of the vets and the signings of the rookies.
The only certain outcome of the season is an underwhelming season from the Chudley Cannons.
As the late Albus Dumbledore once said, “Death is coming for me as surely as the Chudley Cannons will finish bottom of this year’s league.”
While the weakness of the Cannons will most likely show, another outcome The Daily Prophet can confidently predict is the strength of the Tutshill Tornados, who continue to outplay their opponents every season.
Besides those two factors, the league remains up for grabs.
Could we see an all-women team, the Holyhead Harpies, make a push for the League Cup?
Holyhead Harpies Head Coach Jordanna Bodiment certainly believes so: “I’ve seen them all summer putting in the work on and off the pitch and I have never seen a team with so much compassion and respect for one another.”
With the team chemistry through the roof, there seems to be no limit for this team. The next season should be one for the ages so stay tuned for all the news about the upcoming quidditch season on The Daily Prophet.
